VERY EASY: 4 WAYS YOU SHOULD BE MAKING MONEY BLOGGING

Someone asked me how bloggers make money blogging.  Well in this post I'm going to discuss some of the few ways that bloggers make money.  I would like to point out a disclaimer that these are not the only ways that bloggers make money. There are many others.

Kindly let me know in the comments section below some of the other ways with which you make money blogging.

Adsense

Signing up for an Adsense account is one of the common ways with which to make money.   Google Adsense is a service sponsored by Google where you are paid commission for advertising content on a website.  There are different plans to choose from.

There are those that choose to advertise on per click basis while others choose to advertise on page views basis.

It is also important to indicate that you can still choose the companies that will be allowed to advertise on your website depending on their cost-per-click payments.

There are different blogging platforms.  We have Blogspot, WordPress, and many others.  With a WordPress blog, you can start advertising immediately,  but with a Blogspot blog, you have to wait until the blog is 6 months old and has content that can be analyzed and verified to be original.

Affiliate marketing

This is also another plan that pays you a lot of money if you are effective in what you do.  With this plan,  you promote products that companies sell through a specific link.  When readers of your blog click on this link and make the purchase you are a certain percentage of the sale.

The percentage is not as big but it depends on the products that you choose to promote. If you want to make more money then you must promote more products.  This is the area where most of the money that bloggers make is generated.

E-commerce

Bloggers have their own products that they sell.  If you are not yet a seller then you have to come up with a product that you can promote on your blog or website.  There are many products to choose from. There are those that sell eBooks,  and there are those that sell online courses.  There are others that sell physical products like beauty products,  health products and so on.

When using your blog to sell your products,  make sure that you promote the same on social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram in order to connect with your potential buyers.

Corporate/brand sponsorship

It is very expensive to advertise with Google,  and most companies would prefer to use individual marketers to promote their brands and products.  This is also an effective way with which companies can be able to sell their products to a targeted audience.  As a blogger, it is your duty to get in touch with different companies and make them an offer.

The mistake that many bloggers make is that they wait to be approached.

Make the first move and approach both small and bigger brands.  Pitch to them what you can offer and if it suits their business model, be rest assured that you are on our way to your first deal.

What I have highlighted above is not exhaustive and more suggestions are welcome.  Kindly follow me on Twitter and Facebook so that we can exchange more ideas.
